It is the year 2001, and while it looks like we may still have some time to wait for the domed cities and the rocket-cars, at least the waiting is over for the return of Doctor E. He has emerged from his winter travels to bring you the latest installment of his puzzle contest, open to any UNI student or Iowa high-school student. At the end of the semester, the student or team with the most points will win the $60 grand prize, with prizes of $40 or $20 going to the runners up. There will also be wonderful prizes donated by Kadon Enterprises makers of fine gamepuzzles since 1980. Handsome certificates, suitable for framing, will go to all with sufficiently high scores.
Turning in the correct solution to this weeks puzzle by March 1 will earn 2 puzzle points. Turning in the correct solution along with a word containing the letters XYG consecutively will earn 3 puzzle points.
