On an exceptionally hot evening early in July a young man came out of the garret in which he lodged in S. Place and walked slowly, as though in hesitation, towards K. bridge. That man turned out to be Doctor E, and that could only mean that the Wright Challenge is back! Yes, once again Doctor E has started scribbling puzzles on the backs of Talo leaves, and UPSing them to the University of Northern Iowa, in order to tease and delight you and your loved ones! Every fortnight, the mysterious Doctor E supplies another puzzle for you to think about, and at the end of the semester, prizes of $60, $40 and $20 go to the top three finishers, with handsome certificates, suitable for framing, going to all sufficiently high-scoring finishers. Eligible contestants include University of Northern Iowa students, Iowa high school students, and Illinois high school students!
Turning in the correct solution to this week's puzzle by March 4th will earn 2 puzzle points. A correct solution along with an original pleonasm will get 3 puzzle points!
