SCL (Statistical Consulting Lab) - UNI
Need help analyzing your data?
- The Mathematics Department at the University of Northern Iowa
has reconstituted its Statistical Consulting Lab (SCL), starting
February 1, 2006 and running until at least May 2009.
- The SCL will provide a free source of
statistical support for a routine data analyses and is available to UNI
students, faculty and staff. Larger, more time consuming projects would be
billed at reasonable rates.
- Contact Mark Jacobson, the director of the SCL,
at 273-7963 or jacobson@cs.uni.edu to set up your appointment.
Email is strongly preferred over leaving phone messages.
- There will be several short courses on SPSS and SAS offered in the
fall semester of 2008. I will be sending out email notices about the
short courses, so PLEASE drop an email to jacobson@cns.uni.edu if you
wish to be added to the list for SAS or SPSS short courses.
- Have a specific topic from SPSS, SAS, Minitab, R, SPlus or Excel
that you would like covered in a short course?
Let me know the topic and a class can be arranged for covering that
topic, or we can meet and cover it by appointment.
I will be glad to teach a statistical software skill for a group or a
class too.
Office hours at the (SCL) Statistical Consulting Lab in WRT 338A will be
BY APPOINTMENT ONLY DURING the summer of 2008
